The Felix Project Schools Programme

Woodlands Academy are delighted to announce that will be taking part in The Felix Project. Every Friday, we will be handing out goodie bags to all year groups on a rotating basis per year group. All the food items will be items that supermarkets, wholesalers and other suppliers are unable to sell and donate to The Felix Project, the items are in-date, safe and nutritious.

The Felix Project provides a free door-to-door service to collect surplus food from suppliers, and deliver it to local schools and charities. They provide food for over 1 million meals a year. From a standing start in 2016, they currently work with over 120 charities and 90 suppliers helping disadvantaged adults and children get access to high quality food.
