Lunchtimes are:

  • 11:45 – 12:45pm (EYFS and KS1)
  • 12:00 – 1:00pm (Lower and Upper KS2)

Lunches are served in the school hall. The school meals are prepared on site in our own kitchen, in line with statutory healthy eating requirements. There is a 3 week cycle of meals and a vegetarian choice is available daily. Sample menus can be viewed at the school office.

School meals must be paid for in advance and cost £11.50 per week. Payment may be on a weekly, half-termly or termly basis. Payments must be made in advance and will take 24 hours for the payment to clear.

If your account is in debt your child may be refused a school meal. Children in year 6 must be in credit in order for them to consume a school meal.

Please contact the school office or Harrisons Catering for more information.

The preferred method of payment is online: www.ealingmeals.com.

Packed Lunches

Children may bring a packed lunch which should be in a suitable plastic container that can easily be stored on the trolley. The container must be marked with your child’s name and class. Please note for reasons of Health & Safety, packed lunches must not include cans, glass containers, fizzy drinks or sweets.  Nuts or peanut butter are not allowed in school as some of the children have severe allergies. We require that packed lunches are in line with our healthy eating approach and therefore crisps (and similar snacks) and/or sweets/chocolate cakes must not be included in packed lunches.

One week’s written notice must be given, if you want to change from school meals to packed lunches or vice versa.

Free School Meals

From September 2014, all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a Free School Meal. If you want your child to have a Free School Meal, you will need to fill in a form with your name, your child’s name, date of birth and National Insurance number. This helps the school caterer know how much food to purchase. It also enables the school to receive the maximum funding available in relation to Free School Meals, so that more money can be spent on purchasing books, organising trips, improving the school etc.
