Packed Lunches

Children may bring a packed lunch which should be in a suitable plastic container that can easily be stored on the trolley. The container must be marked with your child’s name and class. Please note for reasons of Health & Safety, packed lunches must not include cans, glass containers, fizzy drinks or sweets.  Nuts or peanut butter are not allowed in school as some of the children have severe allergies. Staff cannot heat up food, unless an arrangement has been made with the school based on a dietary need. We require that packed lunches are in line with our healthy eating approach and therefore sweets/chocolate/cakes must not be included in packed lunches. Only baked crisps are allowed and every Friday children are allowed one treat- a biscuit/ cake. For information on what is allowed/ not allowed in packed lunches, please see our Healthy lunches 2023-24

If it is your child’s birthday, you may wish to bring in a treat for the children in your child’s class to enjoy. This must only be healthy snacks such as fruit. No chocolate or sweets are allowed.
